Prior to planning, building construction projects must take crucial factors into account, such as the development’s purpose, utility, financial viability etc..

Planning begins as soon as the choice to create a building is made. Here, the entire building construction process is covered in detail. Start by taking a few pre construction steps.

The steps involved in building construction from beginning to end are listed here.

1. To Purchase a Plot or Land

It is the stage of construction that is most crucial. Look for the building’s location that is most appropriate for building construction.

Be cautious while choosing a piece of property; it should have all the amenities you want close by and be free of any land-related problems.

Purchase a Plot or Land

Prior information gathering is advised before purchasing land or a plot, either by conducting online research or asking for assistance from real estate brokers or other interested parties regarding the effective cost of the same.

2. To Get Technical Assistance

Take the assistance of a qualified architect/construction company such as Rightcon Constructions  to generate building plans after choosing the right land for construction, and heed his or her recommendations. Based on your needs and budget, the architect will develop a plan as per requirement.

The structural engineer is then consulted by the architect to discuss the specifics of the reinforcements to be utilised, the depth of your foundation, the size of gravel to be used, the width of the pillars, etc.

3. Creating a Budget and Estimate

Construction of a building requires a significant financial and material investment. Following completion of planning and structural detailing, the building estimator receives these specifics.

The building estimator will calculate the quantity of the materials and the number of the various work items and create an abstract sheet that displays the building’s construction costs.

Or you can choose pre calculated packages that are offered by Rightcon construction

4.  Authorities’ Permission

After the project is prepared for execution, this work must be completed. Prior to beginning building, we must first obtain approval from the local municipal body.

5. Find a Builder

In order to ensure high-quality building construction and on-time project completion, a builder or contractor for construction must be carefully chosen.

Rightcon constructions will assist you in all the above works, starting from the design and planning, estimation and execution. Contact them by calling 9845845263.

The steps in building construction that are involved in all types of construction are as follows:

1. Cleaning the Site or Levelling

Before beginning the work, the construction site must be cleaned. This work includes clearing the area of rubbish and tree roots as well as levelling the ground.

2. Digging and PCC

Using JCBs to excavate, the building’s foundation is dug up according to the dimensions shown on the footing drawings.

Before installing the foundation reinforcements, a layer of PCC (Plain Cement Concrete) is laid in the trench’s dug area.

3. Foundation

The lowest section of the building that comes in contact with the ground is the foundation, which supports the entire structure.

A building must be exceptionally robust to support the load it transfers from the superstructure to the soil.

The foundation is strengthened when the PCC work is completed. Before pouring concrete, the bottom level of the foundation must be checked.

4. Plinth Beam and Slab

Concrete is poured into ground beam formwork after the foundation work is complete. Work on the stonework has begun above the plinth beam. Additionally, dirt is used to fill the area between the foundation and plinth beam.

5. Column in the superstructure

The component of the building that is above plinth level is known as the superstructure. A column and beam make up the superstructure’s primary part.

6. Masonry Work Using Bricks

Following the completion of the column and beam structure, masonry work is begun using a variety of materials, such as bricks, concrete blocks, fly ash bricks, etc., in accordance with the architectural drawing.

Cement mortar is used in masonry work. Sand and cement are combined to make it. Doors and windows are placed in these gaps during the masonry work carefully and according to the drawing.

7. The Door Window Lintel Gap

The door and window’s lintel is built to support the masonry construction above it. Following this, more masonry work is completed.

8. Slab casting

The slab that rests on the column and beam is then constructed using formwork. The placement of the slab reinforcement above the slab formwork follows the slab detailed drawing. The concreting is done using RMC or Hand mixing based on your preference.

9. Door Window Fixtures and Framing

After that, the door and window frames are set in place according to the drawing’s designated locations.

10. Plumbing and electricity

In common knowledge, buildings are built with a neat finish that hides the plumbing and electrical wiring.

After the finishing work is finished, they are inserted in the slabs and walls so that they are hidden and invisible.

In order to eventually finish them with the plumbing fixtures and electrical fittings, the point and pipe ends are left out.

 11. Surface Finishing

After this work is finished, external finishing and plastering work begins. To stop rising humidity in the wall, waterproofing is also carried out. Another option for improving the elevation of the house is external cladding.

12. Finishing inside

Internal walls are finished in smooth plaster, and tile flooring is used. The walls are afterwards painted or given a texture.

13. Structures made of wood and fixtures

Following the aforementioned stage, nearly all construction work is finished, and furniture work can then begin. Plumbing, electrical, and switchboard installations are all finished in the kitchen and bathroom spaces simultaneously.

14. Waterproofing

A technique to stop water from entering your home is waterproofing. Waterproofing is crucial because it keeps your home dry. It assists in lowering indoor humidity and shields your home’s contents from harm brought on by moisture or exposure to humidity.

15. Work in Painting

The main goal of painting a house is to extend the life of the structure, and adding colour to a house is a great way to do this.

Painting not only provides colour to a home’s walls but also shields it from filth and stains, extending the life of the home. Walls do, however, occasionally show stains.

From simple paint to high-quality paint, which can offer our property an additional 5 to 10 years of life and a wonderful look for both the exterior and inside, there are many paint qualities that can be used to protect our house for a long time from stain, mud, sunlight, rain, dirt, etc.

The interior decoration stage of building construction involves finishing the structure with appropriate furnishings and textiles.
